Duro-Test general-service incandescent bulbs utilize four filament supports, and
our Superlife line utilizes seven, as compared to one (or even none) for the
conventional household bulb.
"A" LAMPS
Duro-Test bulbs are designed and engineered for durability, strength and long
burning life. They feature rugged, multi-support Duro-Flex tungsten filaments
that easily withstand the shock and vibration of industrial applications.
Life-rated up to 8,500 user hours, the Duro-Test bulb will outlast ordinary
bulbs many times over. You save substantially on labor and replacement costs and
you greatly reduce the number of trips up the ladder to change burned-out bulbs.
All Duro-Test incandescents are made with shiny brass bases, which unlike
aluminum, won't corrode in the socket, even after thousands of hours of burning.

"AT" LAMPS
The exclusive "AT" bulb design is the hallmark of Duro-Test quality.
But it's a lot more than just an unusual shape. The unique cooling crown adds
12% more surface area to the bulb, making the surface temperature as much as 50°F
cooler than that of conventional bulbs. It also helps to reduce bulb-blackening
density and makes bulb-changing easier.
"ATM-9" SUPERLIFE
Until now, incandescent light bulbs could be made to deliver either more life or
more light. Never both. Until now, that is. Because now there is the ATM-9
Superlife line. More life and more light. Life-rated at 7,000 user hours, the
Superlife line delivers twice the life of our own premium-life bulb, almost
three times the life of most competitors' "long-life" bulbs, and seven
to nine times the life of conventional types. Just screw them in, and forget

"ATC" WATT-SAVER
These energy-saving bulbs start saving you money the minute you screw them into
the socket. In 34, 54, 67, 90, 135 and 185 watts, they give light comparable to
40, 60, 75, 100, 150 and 200-watt long-life bulbs. Yet they cost 7 1/2% -15%
less to light and conserve 7 1/2% - l 5% in electrical energy. In Clear, Frost

"BR-30" REFLECTORS (Formerly R-30)
Tough and versatile, these extra-dependable, Rough Service/Vibration BR-30s are
perfect for small signs, short-throw display lighting, inspection lighting, and
close-range accent lighting ... any close-quarter or close-up application that
needs reliable reflector concentration. Available in a variety of colors
including Candlelight, Surprise Pink, Amber, Straw, Red, Blue, Super White and
Neo-White. Neo-White is especially compatible with window light and our
sunlight-simulating Vita-Lite fluorescent. Super White is a fine plant light.
"BR-40" REFLECTORS (Formerly R-40)
Our Rough Service/Vibration BR-40 supplies long-lived brightness in nearly every
area calling for concentrated light! Comes in many wattages, spot or flood.

"BRL" REFLECTORS
BRL Reflectors are designed to give you more lighting punch for your money.
Ideal for hi-hat fixtures, the BRLs longer overall length brings the lamp face
to the front of the fixture. No light is lost inside the fixture. The BRL puts
the light where you want it most. You get extra brightness -- up to 50% more
light than comparable wattage reflector lamps! The silvered reflector feature
gives you more of the light you pay for than ordinary aluminum reflectors.
Duro-Test BRL Reflectors are made with sturdy, multi-support C-11 filaments for
durability and strength in industrial applications.
"BRO" AND "PAR" REFLECTORS
Meet Duro-Test's one-piece BRO-38 spots and floods. They're bright, versatile
and rugged. You install them, forget about them, and never worry about
maintenance. Because everything about them is designed for long life. The bulb
itself is made of weather-resistant Durex glass. It's hardy enough to withstand
rain, sleet and snow; but at one-third the weight of conventional two-piece
PARS, it's light enough to eliminate strain on the fixture. The corrosion-proof
brass base, unlike aluminum, won't "freeze" or distort in the socket.
Inside, the sturdy Rough Service/Vibration filament combines with a
mirror-bright reflector to punch out brilliant, trouble-free light for 5,000
user hours. That's two and a half times longer than standard reflector bulbs!

"ER" Watt-SavER REFLECTORS
Duro-Test's new Watt-SavER-30Ks and 40Ks replace higher wattage reflector floods
and save up to 57% in energy costs -- while providing more light than the bulbs
they replace. Our 64-watt ER-30, for example, can do the job of a 150-watt
flood. Life-rated at a maintenance-saving 9,000 user hours, Watt-SavER
reflectors outlast conventional spots and floods 4 1/2 to 1, further reducing
your overall lighting bills. With its beam focus-point two inches in front of
the bulb face (3 1/2" for the ER-40), Watt-SavER reflectors deliver maximum
light from recessed fixtures -- virtually no light remains trapped inside the

"R-20" REFLECTORS
Recommended for small signs, displays and display cases, doorways, machine
illumination, time- and-temperature signs ... for any small area that demands
long-lasting, concentrated light! Tough construction and sturdy filaments make
these R-20s nearly impervious to the elements and to continual vibration! Many
feature krypton fill-gas, which promotes brighter burning than conventional
argon gas. In addition, its Duro-Flex tungsten filament is more uniform and
resilient, and up to 10 times stronger than ordinary filaments. Colors include
Neo-White, Surprise Pink and Super White.
"S" SIGN LAMPS
Duro-Test's extensive line of sign lamps includes tiny six-watt S-6s for
indicator lighting; popular 11-watt S-14s in clear, frost and ceramic colors;
and versatile "A"-shape bulbs in a wide variety of wattages, sizes and
colors for almost any indoor or outdoor sign lighting application. All Duro-Test
sign lamps feature rugged, multi-support filaments and most are life-rated up to

Hercules, the Armorized Extra Duty has been accepted by the United States

TRAFFIC SIGNAL LAMPS
Duro-Test Super V-Beam and Watt-Saver Traffic Krypton signal lamps offer
long-life reliability, labor and energy savings, and low-cost maintenance.
They're designed for 6,000 and 8,000 hours to operate reliably with a minimum of
failures (2-5%) for up to one full year. Quality features of Duro-Test's Traffic
Signal Lamps include: (1) an exclusive V-Beam filament that provides as much as
10% more beam candlepower than standard signal lamps; (2) a fill-gas consisting
of at least 85% krypton to achieve higher light output at lower wattage; (3) a
non-corroding brass base which won't "freeze" in the socket; (4) an
aluminum reflector disc which protects socket and wiring from bulb heat while
redirecting light that would otherwise be lost in the base of the lamp; and (5)
our unique "AT" bulb shape which helps the lamp run cooler, prolonging
the life of the lamp.
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Incandescent bulb size is determined by the maximum diameter as expressed in
eighths of an inch (1/8"). For example: an A-19 bulb is 19 eights of an
inch or 2 3/8" in diameter.
